Peter Vassilopoulos is a long-time West Coast boater who has contributed to numerous boating publications and has produced two best-selling marine guides: Docks & Destinations and Anchorages and Marine Parks; as well as the popular Antiques Afloat. He is also the publisher of two popular cruising guides North of Desolation Sound and Gulf Islands Cruising Guide with a third, Desolation Sound and the Sunshine Coast in the works.

Peter currently lives in British Columbia where he is busy working on a new book about the marine artist John Horton.
